I’ve had a great response to the Vimeo Player GUI PSD that I put up last year. One of the things that I wanted to do was a YouTube Player GUI PSD and since YouTube recently updated their player (and it’s Christmas) I thought I would create a PSD to use in client mock-ups. It’s all well organised in layers and has a few options inside the psd. Let me know if it comes in handy.

It’s been well over a year since I did a blog update. I haven’t disappeared and I do check the site regularly. My reasons are 3 fold.

1. I have been extremely busy with non-stop projects
2. I am a musician and have been touring and working on music videos and recording.
3. Every time I have an idea for a blog post someone else beats me to it.

I do have a few things saved up that I wanted to blog about. One of them is an update to the Vimeo player GUI and another is a GUI for the new YouTube skin. So do check back or subscribe.

With Apple’s ongoing struggle with the iPhone 4 antenna issue, it was only a matter of time before the parodies started. The same group that did the parody for the iPad have now created one for the iPhone. Have a look at this video:

How awesome is this; Lenny Kravitz was chilling out in New Orleans when he hears someone or something playing his music. He goes over and finds out it’s a church choir covering his songs and the best part is that he joins in.He plays the drums with them and then does a little vocal magic. How amazing it must be to hear someone playing your music, or even better…How amazing is it to be playing a Rock Star’s music only to find said Rock Star shows up and plays with you. True artist spur of the moment. Good on you Lenny for joining in. See video below.

We created a site that we believe set Catlin apart from their competitors and something that shows where the company is today.

I have been in need of a video player skin to use in my designs for clients and since vimeo has the best player I thought I would create the skin in Photoshop. It is fully editable and can be scaled without loss of quality. I might make a youTube skin if I get some more time but for now enjoy the vimeo player.
