YouTube Player GUI PSD
I’ve had a great response to the Vimeo Player GUI PSD that I put up last year. One of the things that I wanted to do was a YouTube Player GUI PSD and since YouTube recently updated their player (and it’s Christmas) I thought I would create a PSD to use in client mock-ups. It’s all well organised in layers and has a few options inside the psd. Let me know if it comes in handy.

Why I choose google chrome
I recently started using chrome as my default browser and I have to say that so far I am loving it. It has a much better UI than it’s competitors and a minimalist approach which makes browsing the web all about the website rather than the browser. It loads pages much quicker than all other browsers and to show you a really creative way of demonstrating that point, here is a video.
Vimeo Player GUI PSD
I have been in need of a video player skin to use in my designs for clients and since vimeo has the best player I thought I would create the skin in Photoshop. It is fully editable and can be scaled without loss of quality. I might make a youTube skin if I get some more time but for now enjoy the vimeo player. Read more

This is just such an awesome advert from coca cola. It makes me smile and feel good. I love the fact that even though everybody already loves coke, and they are one of the biggest (if not the biggest) brands, they still stay on top of there advertising. The Good Old Days
I wanted to share this amazing piece of history. Back then this was nearly impossible to achieve but today this entire clip can be made using CGI and After effects in probably less than a week and for a reasonable budget. What HBO did in 1983 to achieve this was brave. They pushed the boundaries of film and animation by thinking practical and using their imagination. Read more
